What We Believe

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith, life and conduct. Luke 24:27,44; John 5:39Romans 15:41 Corinthians 10:11; 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God reigns over all of His universe with providential care. He is all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and all-wise. He is merciful and gracious to all men, and is a loving Father to those who have become His children through Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:11Chronicles 29:10Jeremiah 10:10Matthew 6:9Acts 1:7Romans 8:14-151Corinthians 8:6, 15:24Ephesians 4:6
We believe that Jesus Christ without any change in His eternal Deity, became man through conception by the Holy Spirit and virgin birth; that He died on the cross, a perfect and complete sacrifice, in our stead and for our sins according to the scriptures. He arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven where at the right hand of God., He is now our High Priest and Advocate. Luke 1:34-35John 1:1,2,14,18Romans 3:24-26, 8:34
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict of sin and regenerate the sinner upon believing in Christ. At the time of regeneration baptising the believer into the one body, the Church, of which Christ is the head; and to indwell in perpetuity, guide, instruct, fill and empower the believer for godly living and service. John 14:16-17,26John 16:7-8Acts 1:8Ephesians 4:30
We believe in a literal Heaven where God will remove all crying, tears and pain and is a place where all who accept God’s offer of salvation will be with Jesus. We believe Hell to be the place of eternal torment and punishment for all who reject God’s offer of salvation through Jesus. Psalm 9:17; John 8:24, 14:1-62Thessalonians 1:7-9Revelation 20:10-15, 21:1-3
We believe in the distinct personality of Satan, that he is the “god of this age”, author of all powers of darkness and sin, and is destined to eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire. Matthew 4:1-3Acts 5:32 Corinthians 4:4Revelation 20:10
We believe that mankind was directly created by God in his own image, but fell info sin. The entire human race is, therefore, lost and only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and regeneration of the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. Genesis 1:26-27John 3:3Romans 3:10,23
We believe that the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ, and His resurrection provide the only ground of justification and salvation for all who believe, and that only such as receive Jesus Christ by personal faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. John 1:12Acts 16:30-33Romans 10:9-10Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-9
